Ancestral Nature Walk & Fundraiser to End Rape Culture & Sexual Violence

On October 21st, join me for an ancestral nature walk in support of the second annual Hike for Healing--an effort to support survivors of sexual violence and interpersonal violence--organized by FORCE.

This nature walk will start at the African American burial grounds at Walter Pierce Park, and continue through Rock Creek Park. We will mark certain spots through ritual to honor the many survivors who experienced imperialist and slave rape culture. We will acknowledge their legacy of our pain, reclaim sovereignty of our bodies and land, call on other elements of nature to help our healing, and commit our support to ending system-sanctified violence.

You can keep up with the walk at the Facebook event.
